Wolftunnel
This is a rebuild of a fan art scene I did back in 2018. It's loosely based on a small area on Jupiter in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. The idea was to practice on a very small scene using Modo and Painter before I started my job at MachineGames, where I was working as a Senior Environment Artist on Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Originally, it was done in a few days and rendered in Marmoset. It was pretty rough so I removed it from my folio. Over the past few Sundays I have almost completely rebuilt the scene in Unreal, as well as done a big texture and geo pass to get it presentable. It was tricky to balance the lighting in such a small space with emissive bouncing around off of shiny surfaces. Interior lighting with no outside exposure is also something I wanted to tackle. So there's no skylight or directional light in this scene. I added a small light breakdown to show what eventually worked best for me. The last 2 images are the reference I used to base my re-work on. Thanks, I hope you all like it
